Location history for your agents
Timeline records the places your iPhone stops at. Connect it to Claude Code, Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT, and they can read any day, search every visit and tell you where you are.
Recap my week.
Claude
Used Timelineget_visits · 2–8 Nov
A steady week. Work every weekday, 40 h 59 min in all. Climbing on Tuesday and Thursday evening, dinner at Shiso Burger on Friday, Görlitzer Park on Saturday and Schillerpromenade 30 on Sunday afternoon.
Agents that know you’ve arrived
Tell an agent what to do when you get somewhere. Timeline tells it the moment you do.

Got to Work
visit.started · Rosenthaler Straße 40
“When I get to the office, brief me on what my agents did overnight.”
Claude Code
CI went red on the retry branch at 2:14. There’s a fix on a new branch with a test that reproduces it, and two pull requests are waiting for your review.

Got to the climbing gym
visit.started · Kreuzberg Climbing Hall
“When I get to the gym, hold anything that isn’t urgent.”
Claude
Paused two coding sessions and muted Slack until you leave. I’ll catch you up on the way home.
20:46
Left the gym
visit.ended · 2 h 12 min
“When I leave the gym, log the session and tell me what I missed.”
ChatGPT
Logged 2 h 12 min, your second session this week. While you were climbing, Sam approved the search index PR. Nothing else needs you tonight.

Got home
visit.started · Home (saved place)
“When I get home, close out my day.”
Claude Code
Pushed your branch, wrote today into your notes and turned the living room lamp to evening.
More to hand off
- “When I land somewhere new, find the train into town.”
- “When I walk into a supermarket, tell me what we’ve run out of.”
- “When I pull up at my parents’, remind me what I said I’d bring.”
- “If I’m still at the office 20 minutes before dinner, draft a ‘running late’ text.”
- “If I haven’t been climbing in ten days, tell me.”
Arrival triggers build on MCP Events, a draft addition to the protocol. Today your agent asks Timeline where you are. With events, Timeline tells it. How MCP Events work
“When was I last…”
Search every visit by name, street or kind of place, typos and all. The dentist, the climbing gym, that café near the river.

Plans built from your favourite places
Your agent knows which places you keep going back to. Recommendations start there, not from a list of top tens.
“My friend’s in Berlin next weekend. Plan her a day around my favourite spots.”Says what it doesn’t know
An agent that guesses where you were is worse than none. Every line says how sure it is.

Yours to switch off
Read only
Agents can read your history. They can’t change or delete any of it.
Off by default
Recording works with no account or network. Nothing leaves your iPhone until you connect an agent.
Stops, not samples
The server keeps your stops and how you got between them. Raw readings and motion data stay on the phone.
Disconnect any time
Remove an agent in the app’s Settings, and it loses access on its next request.
